Our treatment rundown

At our offices, we frequently encounter and treat erectile dysfunction, which tends to become more prevalent as men age. Despite having never experienced it before, the likelihood of facing ED at some point in one's life is relatively high. There is no need to feel ashamed, as this is a common occurrence that we regularly address.

What is IntraPulse?

The IntraPulse system offers personalized treatment options that combine ESWT technologies with other customized approaches. To provide more information about ESWT and the IntraPulse system, we have compiled a list of frequently asked questions and their corresponding answers.

What are the benefits of IntraPulse?

The IntraPulse system takes a personalized approach that utilizes ESWT along with other treatment options to cater to the individual requirements of each patient. The ESWT technology enhances the flow of blood to the penis and encourages vascular regeneration, while other treatments target any underlying factors that may cause the condition. With customized protocols, the IntraPulse system can significantly improve sexual performance, erection quality, and overall satisfaction for men.

How effective is IntraPulse?

Our unique approach that involves combining therapies using IntraPulse protocols has shown promising results, with well over 90% of cases achieving the desired outcome. However, it is crucial to understand that individual medical conditions may cause variations in results.

Does IntraPulse require drugs, injections, or surgery?

IntraPulse provides a wide range of treatment options that are personalized to meet the unique needs of each patient. This multidimensional approach can involve a combination of therapies, including ESWT, oral or injected medications, and surgical procedures, depending on what will yield the best results for the patient.

How long do the treatments take?

The ESWT treatments provided through IntraPulse are typically completed within a duration of 30 minutes.

How many treatments will I need?

The required type and frequency of treatment will depend on the unique needs of each patient. Since the factors contributing to ED symptoms may evolve over time, the IntraPulse system is designed to adjust to these changes and ensure that each patient's performance standards are met.

Is IntraPulse right for me?

While ESWT has been found to enhance sexual performance, our observations indicate that IntraPulse can produce even more successful outcomes. By employing a comprehensive approach that combines ESWT with other treatment modalities, we have been able to assist a greater number of men in achieving more fulfilling sexual experiences and improving their erections. If you are considering IntraPulse, we advise consulting with one of our licensed providers to evaluate your specific requirements and determine if it's a viable choice for you.

How does ESWT work?

Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy (ESWT) utilizes high-frequency acoustical waves to repair and stimulate the formation of new blood vessels in the male genital area. This leads to an increase in blood flow, which can help any man, regardless of ED status, achieve longer-lasting and firmer erections.

How effective is ESWT?

Studies have shown that Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy (ESWT) can enhance the quality of erections, although the effectiveness may vary depending on the individual.

A meta-analysis of seven randomized controlled trials with a total of 602 participants revealed that those who underwent ESWT experienced an improvement in their erection quality. Similarly, a study conducted by the Neuro-Urology Unit from Rambam Medical Center and Rappaport Faculty of Medicine in 2013 reported that the majority of subjects achieved better erections after ESWT treatment. However, the studies did not provide information on whether the improvements were significant enough for men to notice a difference in their sexual interactions. At our facility, we prioritize outcome-based results, and our approach emphasizes patient interaction.

How long does an ESWT treatment take?

Our treatment sessions typically take approximately 30 minutes to complete. However, to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care, we schedule 45-minute office visits. This additional time is used for preparation, communication with our providers, and any additional therapies that may be necessary for your personalized treatment plan.

Are the effects temporary?

It is challenging to give a definite answer on the duration of treatment effectiveness since every individual's case is unique and may vary.

Is ESWT safe?

Our analysis of research indicates that ESWT is a secure treatment that boosts blood flow and can aid in the treatment of erectile dysfunction, which is frequently caused by inadequate blood flow. No significant adverse effects have been documented in the research on ESWT for ED and Peyronie's Disease, with the exception of minor irritation or bruising.
